Writers write, right?

It has been a few months since I've added any new posts ... horrible of me, I know! I've been busy writing my new novel, The Doll Maker, which my fans seem to be very excited about.

On another note, I received an email from a fan asking me as a writer, do I suffer from writer's block. I admit the topic is a bit cliché. But I couldn't help thinking about the question so here's my answer. No. It's silly to me to think about having writer's block in the same way that a plumber doesn't wake up one day and say, "Darn, I just don't have it in me to plumb today. I think I'll stay home and knit instead." Writing is a job like any other. Sure, when writers choose to write may differ, but in the end, they write. And the one's I've talked with write every single day. So do I.
